About North Star Service Alliance
The North Star Service Alliance (NSSA) was founded to strengthen the local service industry by bringing together independent businesses that share a commitment to quality, integrity, and professionalism. Rather than operating in isolation, our members collaborate, share referrals, and support one another so customers can confidently find trusted local service providers throughout North Texas.
We service North DFW. Denton County, Collin County, and parts of Tarrant and Dallas County as well.

Our Membership Standards
At the North Star Service Alliance, we believe that trust starts with accountability. Every member is an independent business that meets our minimum standards for professionalism and operates with a customer-first mindset. Our goal isn't to become the largest networking organization—it's to build a community of reputable businesses that customers and fellow members can confidently recommend.
Membership Requirements
Licensed and Established Businesses
Members are expected to operate as legitimate businesses and provide documentation verifying their business entity, such as an LLC or corporation, along with any applicable tax registrations or permits required for their industry.
Proper Insurance
Members must maintain appropriate business insurance for the services they provide. This helps protect both customers and fellow members when collaborating on projects.
This includes General Business Liability, Commercial Auto,
and any trade-specific insurance normally required.
Website
Part of being professional, is looking professional. We require all members to have and maintain a website for their business.
Shared Business Values
Technical skill is only part of what makes a great member. We look for businesses that communicate honestly, treat customers with respect, honor their commitments, and take pride in the quality of their work. Our members are expected to uphold these standards every day.
How the Alliance Works
The North Star Service Alliance is built on collaboration, trust, and long-term professional relationships. Members meet in person each month to share business updates, discuss opportunities, and strengthen connections with other local service professionals. As members become more familiar with each other's businesses, they can confidently provide and receive referrals based on firsthand knowledge and experience rather than simple acquaintance.
Every member receives a dedicated profile within the NSSA Services directory, making it easier for homeowners, property managers, and businesses to discover reputable local companies. Members are also featured through monthly blog articles that highlight their business, recent projects, or industry expertise, helping showcase the value they bring to the community. When larger or multi-trade projects arise, members have the opportunity to collaborate with trusted Alliance partners to better serve their customers.
Unlike many traditional networking organizations, the North Star Service Alliance does not charge membership fees. Our focus is on building a community of reputable businesses that support one another, strengthen local relationships, and provide exceptional service throughout North Texas.
